We're coming to a close on Wooster St!
We made our last major sale this week—one full of jewelry, our 2 remaining tables, Halloween masks, plus other items (!) — and our final packing round begins as we take on our last weed-through of clothing. It's happening! We'll be out of here sometime next week.
And one of the most important parts of this whole thing! Those dollars in the subject line are the 10% of our project that will be going to an NYC charity to help support the struggle against homelessness. It's about time we give back to this city, which has given us so much—especially in these past two months as we finish Part 1 of our project.
We are in the process of researching some shelters and missions to make our donation out to—and if you have any opinions or recommendations, any help would be so wonderful! So far, the NYC Rescue Mission seems like a great fit; it's nice to gain a sense of the result and the way the donation will be put to use, helping people in need right now.
That said, keep any and all recommendations coming. We haven't confirmed the fund transfer quite yet—and would love to hear from anyone who wants to play a part in guiding it to the right place. Feel free to use the comment box below—or message us directly! :)
Happy Thursday, Everyone!
