Ah, the love seat. What a wonderful concept — and name, for a piece of furniture.
This Mysticism love seat called our name for over a year, from deep inside the nooks and crannies of ABC Home. Actually, let's be real: almost everything inside that beautiful store calls out everyone's name — and since the items are much friendlier than their prices, most of the time we're in there to simply find some design inspiration, which is totally okay too.
Back when we had that place on Spring St. we were looking for a "couch" that fit in a 4'X3' corner of the kitchen/living room. We seized the opportunity to invest in this love seat, which we loved so much, and which nestled perfectly inside the little corner we were trying to fill.
Though it's not an S-shape, it is full of comfort for two loves. :)
The ABC Mysticism collection also included many carpets of the same dye-scheme, and when we purchased the love seat we were inspired to go searching the inter-webs for a carpet to match. The love seat itself needed a matching partner to sit on.
And to our surprise, we found it a partner (which has since been sold) through a Turkish rug purveyor on Etsy. Turns out that every pot has its cover, and sometimes they are living in Turkey. :)
