Well well, on Saturday a new friend purchased all 4 anthropologie chairs and hopped in a cab back to Brooklyn, where the chairs will finally see their new home.
Usually, when people come over to grab their new piece of furniture or decor from our loft, it all happens so quickly and we don't really get much time to even think about it.
This time however, it was a little different. The 4 colorful chairs and I got around 10 good minutes to stare at one another and reflect on the awesome time we've had together, right in front of our home on Wooster Street. Why was this time different you're asking? Two reasons really:
1. It was a little after 5pm when I helped our new friend to carry the chairs down to the street so she could hail a cab. All of you New Yorkers know what that means! It's that awful black-hole in space and time called a "shift change". That period where no cabby will take you anywhere that doesn't fall within a 10 foot radius--you know what make it 5 ft--of their shift change destination.
2. It turns out that there are still a handful of people in the city that haven't downloaded Uber yet :)
No complaints though, me and the chairs had fun, and I got a chance to snap a photo.
