Yep! You read that headline right. To commemorate our very large, very rustic farm table—which come this evening around 6:30p will be off to its very special new home—we are throwing a pizza (picnic) party with some friends, on the floor of course!

As many of our nearest and dearest house guests may recall, this table held a pretty firm record for pizza parties...Shabbat dinner parties...New Year's Eve celebrations, and the like. Very often, we cook, but very often we also order some pizza. L'ASSO Pizza on Kenmare is always our go-to, and tonight will be no different.

It's actually quite perfect to throw this table a good-bye party with some food — not only because it's a dining table, but also because of the very important place it's about to make its new home! We're so thrilled that this piece will be heading into the new offices of Spoon University!

If you're a college student, perhaps you've heard of this ever-useful online publication? I know I wish I would have known about it — especially 4 or so years ago while I was a college student sifting through NYC's very mysterious food options.

But really! Check them out! Spoon University is an amazing resource, not only for students looking to build a list of local food options, but also for those who want to write about them.

We're imagining the new purpose this table will serve, and all the incredible stories it's about to stand in the center of. There truly isn't a better place for it to land. :)
