Here we are: we're still in the loft, and everything is alright. We haven't gotten a wave of cold feet, nor have we decided to start buying new furniture all over again. We're simply still here, waiting patiently for some new tenants to take the loft off our hands. Not everything can go completely to plan, right? We have to save room for a little destiny here + there!
This past weekend was an eventful one—with Halloween parties and best friends in town from Panama...friends' birthday and new puppy celebrations too! We've been quite busy having a good time and we wouldn't have it any other way.
On Halloween, Aviv and I dressed up as Pablo Escobar and his wife, Tata.
Not only is Aviv a major fan of Narcos, but we also thought we would pay some homage to Medellin—that wonderful place we visited back in July. It was on the flight home after a week in Medellin where this idea pirouetted out of the sky, through an open airplane window (work with me here!), and straight into our heads. We decided on that flight home that we had to leave this loft.
Perhaps that's it? The universe was just holding up the new tenants of Wooster Street until after we had made the full circle experience—beginning and ending with some Columbian culture??Only time will tell... :)
Needless to say, however, that after 12 hours of playing Pablo + Tata, we feel ready to conquer the world more than ever. Now, if only we had his bank account to make it that much easier! ;)
More to come later this week, where on Friday we have the honor of attending the Project Renewal Fall Ball—the very charity organization where our humble Leaving Wooster donation has found its home.
TTFN—Tata for now! (oh yes, pun intended.)
Happy Monday all! Have a great week!
